Too much time staring at a screen? In this workshop held at the rather swish De Beauvoir Block you will use your hands to make a portrait head from plasticine in the most direct way possible. The best thing is to make a portrait of someone else in the room, but it could be a self portrait, a friend, a celebrity or your dog. We will start by drawing the subject, exaggerating or reducing features slightly. Then we get sculpting, moulding the eye sockets, nose, lips etc, and finally adding hair. You can take your portrait home or squash it up and make another. All materials provided.
